During the trip:
In the event of unforeseen events after the tour commences, our driver and guide will offer and have final say in an alternate plan to maximize passenger safety and enjoyment of the tour depending on the unique situation. We are not responsible for delays due to accidents, breakdowns, or adverse traffic and weather conditions on tours. We reserve the right to modify itineraries, visits or activities based on weather conditions, group needs or conditions out of our control.
We are not responsible for events out of our control that restrict guests’ ability to join the tour on the date requested. As a courtesy to your fellow travelers, it is important to be punctual. If you are late or miss your scheduled pickup time for the tour please contact our office immediately at 914-589-9691. An alternative pick up location may be arranged at your expense, subject to availability. Any guest who misses their tour entirely will forfeit their seat on the tour. Please note that we do not make any refunds for any unused portion of your trip, not arriving, arriving late, or leaving the trip early.
Rules of the Road:
Due to the nature of our trips, the minimum age to participate in our brewery tours is 21 years of age. (18 years old minimum for camping and international tours)
For overnight trips, your luggage will be stowed in a trailer attached to the tour van. Once fully loaded, it is difficult to access the luggage during the day. We suggest any items you may need during the day (camera, bathing suit, jacket, passport, etc.) be carried in your smaller day pack which you will carry with you.
Our drivers have an obligation to fulfill every destination stop promised in the tour itinerary and therefore will communicate with the group how much time will be allotted at each stop and a meet up time to travel to the next destination. Arriving late is unfair to the rest of the group who has made the effort to show up on time to just wait for a tardy passenger as well as strains the drivers time management plans, which could ultimately result in late arrivals to the hotel or dinner reservations. In addition to enjoying the attraction during a stop, the ample specified free time should also be used for shopping, snacks and restroom use before the designated meeting time.
Per our DOT and ICC licensing all state and federal motor vehicle laws must be obeyed by participants of the tour. This includes but is not limited to the use of seatbelts by all passengers in the van and consumption of alcohol in a moving vehicle. Any alcohol purchased during the tour will be stored and transported in the trailer and not on board the vehicle. Insistent refusal to comply with motor vehicle safety laws puts everyone at risk and will result in removal from the tour without refund of any unused portions. Use of illegal drugs on tour will result in immediate expulsion from the tour.
